The Polokwane Municipality have cautioned Residents and businesses of a planned water supply shutdown to the Municipality from Ebenezer line.
According to Lepelle Northern Water, the planned shutdown, which is expected to commence at 07:00 on Wednesday, 24 November 2021 and estimated to last for 24 hours, is the second phase of the replacement of valves on the main pipeline.
This will affect water supply to all areas of supply within Polokwane Municipality. It comes at the time when the municipal reservoirs are experiencing low supply from the Olifantspoort line due to muddy water from Mohlaletsi River for days now.
The municipality has announced that, in the meantime, they supply water through water tankers to all affected areas and normal water supply will be restored once Lepelle Northern Water the work.
