The Polokwane Municipality’s maintenance team is currently conducting emergency repairs on fallen utility poles that supply to customers on the plots and areas along the game reserve.

As a result, the supply areas including Polokwane Game Reserve, Palmietfontein and Weltevrede plot and surrounding areas are off.

There is no estimated electricity restoration time but it might take longer until repairs are completed.

All affected users are advised to treat all electrical wiring as live and to switch off all appliances during the outage to avoid injury and damage once power supply is restored.
