Police in Tubatse require public assistance to locate a 65-year-old man, Josias Mofana from Bothashoek village.

Allegedly, the victim is mentally challenged man and on Friday 19 November 2021 at about 19:45, he left home with his wife to attend a funeral at the same village. While on the way, the elderly man decided to return home and his wife proceeded to the funeral.

The next day, on Saturday 20 November 2021 at about 14:30, his wife returned home and discovered that her husband was nowhere to be found and he left his cellular phone at home.

Attempts to search the victim at relatives and surrounding areas were also not successful.

The elderly man was last seen wearing a navy blue T-shirt with yellow stripes, grey trouser, blue tekkies and a khaki cap at the time of his disappearance.
