Lil Meri was born in a dusty Ga-Motupa village in early 2000.
He became famous with a hit song NGWANA MOTHO (I am also someone’s child), which caused a huge sensation in the bolobedu music industry, and has since released more hits.

SAD NEWS AS LIL MERI HAS PASSED ON
After getting some mainstream attention, Lil Meri got into trouble when he was found wearing a South African Defence Force uniform (SANDF).
Fortunately, he was released a few days later because this was his first offense.
After the SANDF Saga, he released a hit song BA RETSWARISA, translating (they got us arrested) a song that caused a storm in the bolobedu music world.
In 2020, Lil Meri released his other songs, such as THIPA (knife) and Melemo (mouth). These two songs are now very important and have also won him some important performances. Thipa is ranked in the top 30 of Thobela FM Ranked 5th on the list.
May his Soul rest in peace.
