One person was certified dead in a head-on collision between a truck and a sedan on the N1 few kilometers before Louis Trichardt, Limpopo. Emergency personnel used Jaws of Life to free the Sedan driver who was trapped in the wreckage.

Motorists are advised to drive with caution, most of our roads are wet. Earlier on, The N1 South was partially closed next to The Ranch hotel following a horrific accident between a truck and a sedan.

North-bound lanes were completely closed and one lane was open for South-bound traffic. Motorists travelling between Polokwane and Mokopane had to use the R101.
