Police in Giyani, Limpopo have launched a search operation for an 18-year-old missing girl Miracle Eunice Gafane. She is a resident at Makhuva Village outside Giyani, Mopani.
The grade 10 learner in Magula-savi high school, was last seen on Saturday 24 September 2022. She was attending a birthday party with her elder sister at Makhuva village and never returned home.
At the time of her disappearance, she could have been wearing yellow tekkies, a T-shirt, a blue jersey and black Jeans. A search operation was conducted for the friend and relatives without success

Limpopo Family of three missing
Meanwhile, Police in Makhado, Limpopo have launched a search operation for a missing 37-year-old woman Elizabeth Van Der Merwe (Smith). Smith went missing with her two sons Jundre Van Der Merwe aged 9 and Reghardt Van Der Merwe aged 7.
Elizabeth was last seen on 27 September 2022 at around 16:15. She left her place of residence at a farm 2km before Hendrik Verwoerd Tunnels outside Louis Trichardt town. It is alleged she had an argument with her husband. She then left everything behind including her cellphone.
According to the Social workers, the mother could not be reached for confirmation on picking Jundre (9) and Reghardt (07). They are currently at Abraham Kriel Children’s Home in Modimolle and were due for an arranged visit to the mother at a verified address under the social workers supervision.
More allegations
There are allegations of the Mother having picked up the kids in Polokwane after they alighted from a bus coming from the children’s home. Thereafter departed to an unknown address. Meanwhile, a fourth accused in the murder case of the mayor of Collins Chabane, Moses Maluleke was denied bail.
The suspect appeared in the Malamulele Magistrate court on Friday.
