The Police in Lebowakgomo are investigating a case of a missing toddler Motheo Rashilo aged one-year nine months. She is from Malatane village in Ga-Seloane outside Lebowakgomo, Capricorn District.
The victim was allegedly last seen on Friday 28 October 2022 at about 09:00 am in Malatane by her mother. According to the reports, she dropped her off at her friend’s mother’s place for them to take care of her as she departs for Lebowakgomo.
MISSING TODDLER
Later during the same day when the victim’s mother called to inform the babysitter that she is about to return from Lebowakgomo to her surprise, she was informed that her child is nowhere to be found. She reported the matter to the police.
A case of a missing person was opened and all role players were involved. Preliminary investigations revealed that the child was taken by an unknown person.

The victim was last seen wearing white and yellow Short trousers, pink shoes, Pink T-shirt with a grey jersey.

UNDOCUMENTED FOREIGNERS ARRESTED
Meanwhile, the Police have arrested a total of 70 illegal immigrants aged between 17 and 35 during joint operations conducted in the Sekhukhune District.
The operation commenced in the early hours of Friday 21 October 2022 and focused on undocumented foreign nationals. The suspects were found on a scrapyard compound and farms around Groblersdal.
The 32-year-old owner was also fined R5 000 for employing undocumented foreign nationals.
The Provincial Commissioner of Police in Limpopo Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe has lauded the arrests. She also thanked community members for providing the information that led to these arrests.
The arrests are done in an effort to reduce the levels of crime and also to ensure compliance with immigration laws.
