ANC Limpopo have distanced themselves from recent comments made by former MEC for Education Polly Bishielo regarding Cyril Ramaphosa.

In an interview with the Sunday World, Boshielo accused the ANC provincial executive committee (PEC) of double standards and conniving with the KwaZulu-Natal leadership. She claimed that despite publicly announcing their support for Cyril Ramaphosa in his bid for the second term in office, the Province is supporting Zweli Mkhize.

“At the moment there are two line-ups from the same people of this province. One consists of a slate, which supports comrade Ramaphosa and Fikile Mbalula. The other one consists of Zweli Mkhize and Phumulo Masualle,” Boshielo told the publication.

“We are not confused and pretentious. Our line-up remains in favour of comrades Ramaphosa and Mbalula,” she added.
