Police in Ritavi outside Tzaneen have launched a manhunt after a woman was found murdered in the early hours of Saturday. The incident took place at Lephepane village, Tzaneen.
The Police were called to the scene where the body of a woman was found lying in pool of blood in the boyfriend’s house.
WOMAN FOUND MURDERED
Preliminary Police investigations revealed that the suspect killed the woman and then fled the scene.
The motive for the incident is unknown at this stage but domestic violence cannot be ruled out.
The Provincial Commissioner of Police in Limpopo Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe has strongly warned perpetrators of Gender Based Violence. She assured that the Police will hunt them down and bring them to book.
