Limpopo Education MEC Mavhungu Lerule-Ramakhanya has commended the improvement shown by rural schools in the remote areas of the province.
MEC Lerule-Ramakhanya was addressing learners from three schools, a high school and two primary schools at Matshavhawe village outside Louis Trichardt in Vhembe.

Matshavhawe Secondary had a ten percent increase in matric last year.
MEC MAVHUNGU LURULE-RAMAKHANYA VISIT RURAL SCHOOLS
The MEC is visiting schools around the province to motivate learners to maintain their standards and to strive for a hundred percent pass rate.
As part of the motivation, needy learners were given school shoes. The MEC also handed three laptops to the principals as a token of appreciation for their hard work and dedication to the profession.

The MEC will continue with her drive to schools on Thursday at Steiloop in Mogalakwena. She is expected to handover dignity packs to one hundred and fifty (150) at Malebo Secondary and Reabilwe Primary Schools.
