The Polokwane Municipality has announced an urgent electricity supply shutdown in Luthuli, sections 9A and 9C. This is reportedly due to the replacement of a high-tension pole in the area under the Capricorn District.

It will take four to five hours to restore electricity in that area.
“All customers in Luthuli 9A and 9C in the Seshego area are hereby notified of an urgent electricity supply shutdown,” the Municipality said in a statement on Thursday.

ELECTRICITY SUPPLY SHUTDOWN AT LUTHULI
“This is due to the replacement of a high tension (HT) pole in the area. The maintenance team has estimated 4 to 5 hours until restoration of power supply to the affected customers.
“All affected users are advised to treat all electrical wiring as live and to switch off all appliances to avoid injury and damage when power supply is restored. Polokwane Municipality apologises for the inconvenience caused,”
