Limpopo MEC for Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure Nkakareng Rakgoale on Tuesday handed over a contractor to upgrade road D3248 in Greater Tzaneen Municipality.
The road links the Deerpark Cross to Mandhlakazi and Nwamitwa. MEC Rakgoale says the construction of the 10 kilometre stretch of the road will enable a smooth flow of traffic on the road which connects several villages within the Municipality.

She says this is part of the efforts by the department and its entity Roads Agency Limpopo. This is to ensure that there is improved roads infrastructure in the province.
Nkakareng Rakgoale opens R90 million project
The MEC was joined by Hosi Nwamitwa, RAL CEO Gabriel Maluleke and local Councillors. The R90 million project is expected to create job opportunities. Also create opportunities for small, medium and micro enterprises (SMMEs).
