The lover of Facebook rapist and murderer Thabo Bester, Dr Nandipha Magudumana will remain in custody while her father was granted bail. Dr Magudumana appeared before the Bloemfontein magistrate’s court on Monday alongside her father, Zolile Cornelius Sekeleni, and two other accused. A former G4S employee Sehone Matsoara and G4S CCTV technician Teboho Lipholo.
DR NANDIPHA MAGUDUMANA REMAIN IN CUSTODY
Dr Magudumana and two other accused will be back in court on 3 and 4 May to continue with their bail application. She faces charges of aiding a prison escape, violation of corpses, fraud as well as multiple murder charges.
Sekeleni was granted R10,000 bail and will have to report to the Port Edward police station once a week. Sekeleni initially faced a charge of murder, assisting a convicted Individual to escape from custody, fraud, and harbouring an escaped convict. But the NPA could remove the charge of murder.

The state did not oppose bail for Sekeleni and he is expected to appear again in court on 16 May 2023.
However, prosecutor, Sello Matlhoko, indicated that the state would oppose the bail application against Magudumana. Also for former G4S prison warden Senohe Matsoara and former CCTV technician Teboho Lipholo.

Meanwhile, Bester appeared in court on Friday, for the first time since breaking out from Mangaung Correctional Centre
He spent almost a year on the run after he broke out of prison in May last year. He will continue to serve his life sentence for rape and murder. But he will now face the added charges of fraud, defeating the ends of justice, escaping, and violating a body.
Bester abandoned his bail application and will appear again on 16 May 2023.
