A man was robbed of an amount of R 100 000 at a Car wash in Tzaneen CBD, Limpopo on Thursday at around 11:00. A Case of armed robbery has since been opened at the Tzaneen SAPS. The incident took place at Claude Wheatley Street in Tzaneen CBD.
It is alleged that the victim visited the FNB Tzaneen branch where he withdrew the cash and thereafter took his car to the car wash.
MAN ROBBED R 100 000 AT A CAR WASH
It is further alleged that while still sitting at the car wash waiting for his car to be washed. A tall African male stormed out from a Mercedes Benz. he pointed the victim with a firearm and shot him in the leg robbing him of the money he had earlier withdrawn.
The victim sustained a gunshot wound and was immediately transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital where he is recovering.

The Tzaneen SAPS are investigating a case of Armed robbery that was opened and is under investigation.
