The Capricorn District football legends in Limpopo have launched a first-ever tournament to celebrate and showcase our Masters and Legends in the Province. The tournament is set to be played yearly.
The 2023 inaugural edition of the Limpopo Football legends will be played by Capricorn legends from Polokwane, Molemole, Lepelle Nkumpi, and Sekhukhune. Sekhukhune Legends were invited to conclude the four-team tournament after the Blouberg Legends could not form a team.

The launch took place at Peter Mokaba Stadium, Polokwane on Thursday morning. It was attended by amongst others former SAFA Vice President Ria Ledwaba and different football legends.
FOOTBALL LEGENDS LAUNCH TOURNAMENT
The one-day tournament will be played at Baroka Global Village Stadium in Lebowakgomo on Saturday, 24 June. The final edition will include all winners of the five provincial districts: Capricorn, Vhembe, Mopani, Sekhukhune, and Waterberg.
They have partnered with the likes of TEFLA GROUP as the main sponsor, Zororo Lodge, Gallery of Legends, Baroka FC, Metropolitan, Coke, Vision View TV, Matomela Gearbox and Diff, Limpopo Sports Confederation and Department of Sports, Arts, and Culture.
