A woman was brutally murdered and her body was dumped on the main road at Sedawa Village in Hoedspruit, Mopani. It was discovered on Monday,10 July 2023 at about 06h00.
It is alleged that the SAPS Hoedspruit members responded to a complaint of a body of a female found lying on the main road. During the investigation, it was established that the deceased had suffered multiple stab wounds.

The deceased has not been identified and she is in her thirties, light in complexion with afro hair. She was also wearing a brown T-shirt and blue jeans. The body was covered with a duvet.
Police have also opened a case of murder and the motive of the killing is not yet known.

“Such a cold and senseless attack on a person cannot be tolerated,” said Commissioner of Police in Limpopo Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe.
“We have confidence in the investigation team assigned to the case that they will ensure the perpetrators of this heinous crime are tracked down and brought before justice,” she said.
