The body of a 48-year-old man whose vehicle was also torched was discovered in Phagane Village, Giyani, Mopani in Limpopo on Thursday. It is reported that while Police were busy with their routine patrol, they received a complaint about a certain motor vehicle that was on fire. They quickly went to the scene of the crime.
Upon arrival, the Police found a Volkswagen Polo with the registration number of MP on fire.

They also discovered the body of a man a few meters from the motor vehicle. There was also a wallet with bank cards and smart identity cards next to the wallet and Cellphone.
Emergency Services personnel and fire brigades were summoned to the scene and managed to extinguish the fire. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Upon inspecting the body it was discovered that the body was tied with a rope.

BODY FOUND NEXT TO A TORCHED VEHICLE
A case of murder was opened. The motive for the incident is unknown and the deceased’s identity will be released at the appropriate time.
Police in Giyani have also launched a manhunt for an unknown number of suspects responsible for the murder.
