Limpopo MEC for Social Development, Nandi Ndalane has donated school uniforms at Masete Primary School in Mamadi village in the Blouberg Local Municipality. Ndalane donated the uniforms to orphans and vulnerable children.

The donation is part of the provincial-wide drive where the Department identifies orphans and vulnerable children who have inadequate or no uniform. Provide them in order to restore their dignity and pride.

In her address, Ndalane expressed that, lack or inadequate uniform can lead to a lack of confidence and self-esteem in a learner.

“Providing vulnerable learners with uniforms can undoubtedly help them feel part of the school community. Be seen as equal to their peers,” she said.

Ndalane is set to take this drive to other districts in order to help and support orphans and vulnerable learners.
