Members of Politsi K9 Unit, arrested a 31-year-old Man for possession of a suspected stolen motor vehicle at Madibeng village on Tuesday.

It is reported that members of Politsi K9 while conducting a Crime Prevention patrol at Madibeng village, spotted a suspicious motor vehicle. A VW Polo TSI, silver in colour, which they stopped for a routine search.

Through circulation, the Police noticed that it had been hijacked at Letsitele, Limpopo in June 2023.

The possibility that the suspected motor vehicle might have been involved in cases of hijackings, robberies, and other crimes will be investigated.

The suspect was arrested and detained at Haenertsburg SAPS. The motor vehicle was seized and booked in at the SAPS for further investigation.
