WHAT IS THE CAUSE OF ROFHIWA RAMPFUMEDZI’S DEATH?

Rofhiwa Rampfumedzi was absent from his show at PhalaPhala FM on Thursday and Friday due to his sudden ill health.

“I saw it on social media, our listeners asking what could have been the cause of his death. So I feel it is necessary to tell them that Rofhiwa passed away after a short illness. The last time I spoke to him was on Friday morning and even though he was saying he was not well,” she explained.

“One would have not thought it would arrive to where we are now. That’s why on Thursday and Friday the Sports Show was done by different people. We had full hope that today [Monday] he would be with us but God’s will showed us that it was time for him to depart. As a station, we are shattered and it’s a heavy day for us.”

The family and the station are yet to announce the details of his memorial or funeral services.
