One person was shot and killed on Wednesday when an unknown group attempted to disrupt a Mogalakwena municipal project in Mahwelereng, Limpopo

It is said that a group of people and a contractor attempted to stop a project to replace old asbestos pipe which is one of the contributors towards constant sewer spillage in wards 12, 27, and 28. However, the victim was not part of the disgruntled group but was just caught in a crossfire.
