Hulisani Ravele announces huge career decision

Limpopo-born media personality Hulisani Ravele has announced her decision to take a break from the media space after 26 years in the industry.
Ravele is best known as a YoTV presenter at the age of 11 and went on to work for nine years. She has worked for Radio Stations such as Capricorn FM, Power FM and 947.

Ravele took to her social media platforms on Thursday to announce that she is taking a break from the industry.
“After a remarkable journey spanning over two and a half decades, Hulisani Ravele, a mainstay in the entertainment industry, has decided to embark on a well-deserved sabbatical from the airwaves and television screens,” read a statement.
‘Cici’ has also been the host of the weekend morning show on Primedia’s 947 for the past five years.

“l am immensely grateful for the love and support I have received from my followers and the industry,” she said.
“Making it onto the 947 line-up has been an absolute dream come true,” said the 35-year-old.
“To anchor and deliver an entertaining and wholesome show to such a diverse and multicultural audience. To play a part in the station surpassing the 1 million mark for P7D listenership, and being able to maintain that position, are both remarkable achievements I hold dear.
“This break is not just a pause. But an opportunity for me to delve into new experiences and discover what the future holds. I’m excited to see where this journey takes me.”
Her final show on 947 will be on Saturday, 30 September.
