Two suspects arrested for Business Robbery in Mokopane

Police at Tinmyne outside Mokopane, Limpopo have arrested two male suspects aged 24 and 26 years old for business robbery on Saturday 02 December.
It is alleged that two male suspects intruded into a foreign-owned tuckshop at Kabeana village at about 18:30.

They allegedly threatened the foreign national shopkeeper with a knife, hit him with some sticks and demanded cigarettes.
It is further alleged that the suspects robbed the shopkeeper undisclosed amount of money and a cellphone Samsung J5 worth R6000. They then fled the scene on foot.
MOKOPANE BUSINESS ROBBERY SUSPECTS ARRESTED
The Police received a report of a business robbery. They immediately operationalized the information received from the source about the possible suspects of the robbery. Subsequently, one of the two suspects was arrested on the spot and later the second suspect was traced and arrested from a separate location.
The duo are facing charges of business robbery and assault with intention to inflict grievous bodily harm.
The suspects are scheduled to appear before Mahwelereng Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 04 December 2023.
