Roxley Masevhe appears in court for rape of his stepdaughter

Renowned Venda Bishop and gospel artist, Fhatuwani Roxley Masevhe appeared at the Thohoyandou Magistrate’s Court on Monday for the rape case of his stepdaughter.

The Gospel artist who is affectionately known as Mu Bishop Vho-Masevhe allegedly sexually assaulted his stepdaughter.

According to reports, the case was postponed to January 16 2024 for formal bail application. He is currently behind bars, awaiting his second court appearance. Vhembe SAPS’s communications officer, Vuledzani Dathi also confirmed to SABC Radio Station PhalaPhala FM on Tuesday about Masevhe’s arrest. 

BISHOP ROXLEY MASEVHE RAPE CASE OF HIS STEPDAUGHTER POSTPONED

The 64-year-old was arrested in early January on statutory Rape charges and assault. He handed himself to the Police on Monday and immediately made an appearance. His case was postponed to 16 January 2024.
