2024 DStv price increase details 

MultiChoice have announced the annual DStv price increases which take effect on 1 April 2024. This will see the DStv premium increase from R879 to R929 a month.

“We’re excited about the DStv price guarantee which secures a price lower than today for our customers who sign up for our 24-month deal to beat the increase,” said MultiChoice SA CEO Marc Jury. 

“Our priority is to ensure that we continue to provide unparalleled entertainment. Which includes local South African stories and the world’s best sports.

“Subscribers can look forward to an array of exciting content such as Big Brother Mzansi as well as major sporting events like the SA20 Cricket and the Olympic games,” he said.

Our customers can also look forward to continued savings on our DStv internet bundles, DStv insurance, and Namola.”

DSTV SUBSCRIPTION PRICE INCREASE DETAILS 

There are no increases for the ADD Movies package at R79 monthly. DStv BoxOffice rentals also remain unchanged at R40 a pop while all streaming-only services will maintain current subscription fees.

MultiChoice is also introducing what the Randburg pay-TV operator calls a price guarantee agreement. DStv subscribers can ensure that their subscription fees remain fixed for the period of their contract.

Premium: R929 (a 5.7% increase, from R879)

Compact Plus: R619 (a 6.9% increase, from R579)

Compact: R469 (a 4.5% increase, from R449)

Family: R329 (a 3.1% increase, from R319)

Access: R139 (a 7.5% increase, from R129)

Access Dee: R120 (a 4.3% increase, from R115)

EasyView: R29 (no increase)
