2024 Marula Festival line-up revealed 

The Line-up and official dates for the 18th edition of the Marula Festival was officially revealed on Sunday. The official launch took place at Uhuru Lifestyle Emporium, Polokwane. It was attended by MEC for LEDET Rodgers Monama, MEC for Sports Nakedi Kekana, Ba-Phalaborwa Mayor Merriam Malatji, and LTA Board Chairperson Andre Dipela amongst other dignitaries. 

Festival which will be hosted from 26 April to 04 May 2024 at various locations around the town of Phalaborwa, culminating in an open-air concert at the Impala Park Stadium.

This year, LEDET has collaborated with the Department of Sport, Arts & Culture (DSAC) to host joint district build-up events. The Ba-Phalaborwa Municipality will also be supporting the cultural parade that signals the commencement of the marula festivities. 

Some of the events also include the Cultural Parade, Career Expo, Family Marathon, Theatre & Film Festival and Golf Day.

“We are highly pleased by the growth of the Marula-based business. The crucial role that it also plays in the creation of jobs and creativity with regard to attracting consumers and competing with other market products,” said MEC Monama.

“As the department responsible for economic development and tourism in Limpopo Province, we applaud the efforts by the Ba Phalaborwa Municipality. The department itself and the agency responsible for tourism promotion, the Limpopo Tourism Agency. This partnership has proven to be of mammoth importance,” he said. 

18TH MARULA FESTIVAL LINE-UP HAS BEEN CONFIRMED 

King Monada, Makhadzi, Penny Penny, Papi Cooper, Master KG, DJ Malwela, Busta 929. Short cake, DJ Stokie, Daniel Brothers, Henny C, Motlanalo, Aymos, Candy Tsamandebele, King Bash, PHB Finest. Pleasure Tsa Manyalo, Themba Nyathi, Lufuno Dagada, Winnie Mashaba and also LLoyiso.

General tickets are selling at R 200 while VIP tickets cost R 800, all at computicket.
