President of the newly promoted Limpopo club Magesi FC, Solly Makhubela has credited the recent success to his technical staff.

Magesi from Moletjie outside Polokwane were promoted to the DStv Premiership on Sunday afternoon. This follows a 3-1 win against struggling Milford FC at Peter Mokaba Stadium.

“It is not about me, I am not full-time in the team,” said an excited Makhubela.

“It’s just about the management and the coach who are working together. I am just a chairman who takes instructions from them, to be honest. I just listen to them and where I need to suggest. The final decision lies on them [management].

“Yes, we gave the coach a mandate, but not only the coach, but also the management. Remember the coach needs to work together with the management. When I give a mandate, I give to everyone.”

There has been speculation about where the club will play their matches in the PSL. Seshego Stadium has been mentioned as one of the possible venues while the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium remains another option.
