On Wednesday, the Mayor of the Greater Giyani Municipality Thandi Zitha officially handed over the now-complete Homu 14B sports centre. The project, one of the longest stalled projects, has been on the news for some time. It is said to have cost over R13 million.
The project started in 2014 but the contractor who was handed over the project couldn’t finish it until Zitha took office. She appointed another contractor at over R13 million, to complete the project.
