Four student nurses robbed inside Jane Furse Hospital

Police in Limpopo are searching for a group of unknown suspects who robbed four student nurses of the Jane Furse Hospital at the employee’s residential houses. The incident took place on Friday, 10 May at around 15:30. The suspects threatened victims with firearms and instructed them not to scream.

The suspects fled the scene with two iPhones and two Huawei notebooks. One Samsung Galaxy cellphone, groceries, clothes and an undisclosed amount of money. All at an estimated value of R70 000.

The suspects were wearing masks and it was also established that the security guard was tied up in another room. Police were summoned to the scene and registered a case of house robbery to trace the suspects.
Meanwhile, In another incident, two males were shot and killed on Saturday while seated outside a bar lounge at around 23:30. It is alleged that shots were fired and thereafter two people were found with gunshot wounds.
The Police and Emergency Medical Services were summoned to the scene. Two men were certified dead at the scene. Their identity is still withheld for investigation purposes. The motive behind the incident will be revealed as investigations unfold.
