Limpopo government officially congratulate Magesi FC

On Wednesday, MEC for LEDET Rodgers Monama alongside Limpopo Tourism Agency [LTA] Board Chairperson Andrew Dipela officially congratulated Magesi FC on their promotion. Magesi, who are from Moletjie, will now be playing in the DStv Premiership.
They won the Motsepe Foundation Championship beating the University of Pretoria who finished second and Baroka who finished third.

The congratulatory ceremony was held at Park Inn Hotel, Polokwane attended by members of the media, players, government and club officials, led by Chairman Solly Makhubela.
“It gives me great joy and an immeasurable amount of pleasure and honour to be here with you today on this important occasion of congratulating Magesi Football Club, Dikwena Tsa Meetse as you are affectionately called, on your rare feat of gaining promotion to the elite league of the South African Football, otherwise known as the DSTV Premiership,” said MEC Monama.

From Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane to Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria. To FNB Stadium and Orlando Stadium in Johannesburg, up to Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban, Cape Town Stadium in Cape Town, Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit and Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Qgeberha, you will be carrying our provincial flag with pride, thanks to your promotion to the big league.”
“As the Department for Economic Development, Environment and Tourism, we view this promotion as one of the building blocks in the sport tourism sector. As more and more people will be flocking to the province, and as such benefitting the tourism and the hospitality industry.
