Prayer day for dangerous Dendron R521 road

Senior Prince Theledi’a Leokama and Dr Matuma Moloto led a prayer day on behalf of His Majesty Kgosi Kgabo Moloto III for the dangerous Dendron R521 road in Limpopo on Thursday. The prayer day comes after the high rate of accidents taking lives on the road.
The last shocking accident was when it claimed the lives of over 13 people who were heading to Senwabarwana. The collision involved a Toyota Minibus and a Hyundai HMV. It, unfortunately, claimed the lives of two male Drivers, as well as 11 passengers from the Minibus, nine female and two male.

The prayer was attended by amongst others traditional healers, pastors, the Moletjie Taxi associations and scholar transporters. Moreover, 150 headmen and Bahlaloga regiments graced the event. They went on their knees performing their practices and praying for Dendron R521 road.
STAKEHOLDERS GATHER ON THE R521 DENDRON ROAD FOR A PRAYER DAY FOLLOWING FATAL ACCIDENTS
“Moletsi tribal Authority and the office of His Majesty Kgoshi Kgabo Moloto III, the senior traditional leader of the nation of Bahlaloga, hereby notify Bahlaloga taxi association and Moletsi taxi association about the closing of 521 and Leokama/Motinti road due to prayer day,” an invite was sent to the community.
The affected roads were:
- R521 road
- Leokama to Motinti
- Ga-Matlou to Ga-Mabitsela
- Matekereng to Rita
- Between Marlo and Mike’s chicken
