Mankweng Hospital performs 74 cataract operations

The Mankweng Hospital Ophthalmology Unit, Limpopo successfully performed 74 cataract operations over the weekend in commemoration of Nelson Mandela’s legacy.
The exceptional efforts were done by the medical staff, surgeons, and support personnel. Acting Health MEC Nakedi Sibanda Kekana extended her heartfelt congratulations to the dedicated team.

The MEC has also encouraged other healthcare facilities to follow the example set by the Mankweng Hospital Ophthalmology Unit in making a positive impact on the lives of those in need.
