Premier Dr Ramathuba to continue with Dikgerekgere Wednesday 

Limpopo Premier Dr Phophi Ramathuba will lead the Mopani Chapter of the Dikgerekgere Wednesday service provision programme. The programme will take place at Maphata village on road D3842 under the Greater Giyani Local Municipality.

The Premier successfully launched the programme in Waterberg District, which statistically has the most gravel roads in the province.

Last Tuesday, Premier Ramathuba together with MEC Ernest Rachoene continued with the programme in Madonsi Road D3647 under the Collins Chabane Local Municipality.

WHAT IS THE DIKGEREKGERE WEDNESDAY PROGRAMME IN LIMPOPO? 

“The Dikgerekgere Wednesday Programme aims to revitalise the province’s road infrastructure through blading, regraveling and de-bushing,” said the office of the Premier. 

 “Given that most of the roads in the province are gravel, this initiative ensures roads remain in good condition and safe for all road users.”
