Limpopo family loses everything after house was gutted by fire

A family from Moganyaka, Limpopo lost everything, including one member after their three-bedroom house was gutted by fire. The incident took place on Friday night outside Marble Hall in Ephraim Mogale Municipality.
Michael Tladi [28] succumbed to his injuries and reportedly died on the scene while trying to rescue his family.

His mother, Mma Tladi, 51, survived and is currently hospitalized. Her other two children, aged 11 and 19 are recovering at home after minor injuries.

The Executive Mayor of Sekhukhune District Municipality Minah Bahula has dispatched a team of officials, including councillors to the family.
“The disaster assistance the district has dispatched will provide interim relief to the family. We sympathise with them during this dark period,” said Mayoral Committee Member Mabatane Mathale.
“We are doing everything in our power to ensure they receive the necessary support and assistance to overcome this tragedy,” he said.
The Municipality says they will continue to assess the situation and provide the necessary aid to the affected family. The municipality also appealed to local organizations and individuals to offer additional support and resources.
