There will be road closures on the N1 road through Musina town, Limpopo for the next 18 months due to major construction. The announcement was made by Hillary Construction company responsible for the rehabilitation of the road.

Two years ago, Musina saw the major construction of the R640-million Ring Road as part of the government’s infrastructure projects. 

The road is between Musina and the Beit Bridge border post, which is a gateway to many other Southern African Development Community countries. The road sees over 1000 heavy vehicles on a daily basis.  That construction is now continuing and is likely to be completed in a year and half.

HILLARY CONSTRUCTION COMPANY ANNOUNCES ROAD CLOSURES ON THE N1 MUSINA TOWN 

“Hillary Construction would like to notify all the  that will be affected by the construction of N1 route through town of Musina that there will be road closures for the next 18 Months of the duration of the contract,” they announced.

“Some sections of the closures will be operated under stop and go. Some closures where there’s double lanes the traffic will be diverted to one side of the road to avoid stop and go.

“The Contractor shall provide continuous access to all properties along the project section, also during STOP/GO conditions and for all single access properties.”

“Hillary Construction would like to apologise for all the inconveniernce that will be caused by the construction of the road. Further communication will be sent to you with exact positions of closures.

“Please note that any discussions or special request you want to have regarding your access to your business you are welcome to call the PLO or the Site Manager of Hillary Construction on the numbers above.”
