“As much as I am an optimist, I am also a realist. Realistically we are going to be written off from day one. You have a coach who was written off, players who have been written off by previous teams and that’s exactly how I like it. These are the challenges I like.

“I am confident that the players that have come in to reinforce the team are going to deliver in terms of their performances. Like I have said. It’s not going to be easy. We have all seen teams that get promoted and how often they struggle,” he added.

“It’s going to be a hell of a fight. We are going to sweat blood at times. But it’s a fight that we are up for.”
