Team SA schedule at the Paris Olympics on Wednesday

Phathutshedzo Maswanganyi and Wayde van Niekerk will be in action on Wednesday as Team SA face a busy schedule at the Paris 2024 Olympics. There were Seven sporting codes representing Team SA on Tuesday, although none of them were involved in determining any medals.
They start the day with four medals with Tatjana Smith [gold and silver]. The menās sevens rugby and Alan Hatherly [bronze] put them in 24th place on the overall table.

Meanwhile, Limpopo-born 800m runner Prudence Sekgodiso says she takes the positive besides failing to get a medal during her race on Monday.
The race was won by pre-race favourite Keely Hodgkinson in 1:56.72, with Sekgodiso eighth in 1:58.79.
āThe plan was to stick with the girls for as long as I could. I know Iām not good in the final 100m and when I saw the girls coming past me, I thought I must just keep my head up and keep going,” she said.
āIām so happy I made the final, cāmon guys, it means a lot to me,ā she told the media afterwards.
