Elderly Woman brutally murdered at Sterkwater village

A 92-year-old Woman was brutally murdered and her eight-roomed house was set on fire at Ga-Choke, Sterkwater village in Limpopo. The incident occurred on Thursday, 08 August at night. The elderly woman was asleep when unknown suspects entered the premises.

She was later discovered by the police inside the bathroom tightened with a cloth. Following the brutal attack, the unknown suspects set the house on fire and fled the scene.

Commissioner of Police Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe has expressed sadness over the incident. She appeals to the community members to provide information that can assist in the apprehension of the suspects. She has alsoinstructed Gilead police in Waterburg District to pull all their available resources to search for suspects responsible.
