Suspects busted for illegal firearms and house breaking implements 

Police in Hlogotlou under Sekhukhune District have arrested six suspects aged between 41 and 53 for possession of illegal firearms and possession of house breaking implements.

The suspects were arrested on Sunday 19 March  at about 23:55.

The police officers were busy with stop and searches during operation “National shut down” at Mpudulle Four Ways in Monsterlus. They found the six suspects in possession of two firearms with ammunition and house breaking implements. The suspects’ Toyota Avanza was also confiscated for further investigation.

The Provincial Commissioner of police in Limpopo Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe has hailed the members for being vigilant at all times. Stopping dangerous criminals in their tracks.

Court appearance for house breaking culprits

The six suspects will appear in Nebo Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday 22 March. They face charges of possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition and possession of house breaking implements.
