Hawks pounce on Thulamela Municipal officials

The Hawks in Limpopo searched and seized the electronic devices at Thulamela Local Municipality, Thohoyandou on Tuesday. During the operation, the team presented search warrants to the affected municipal employees.

The electronic devices believed to be necessary for the investigation of alleged fraud and corruption were seized.

The Provincial Head of the Hawks in Limpopo Province Major General (Adv) Gopz Govender hailed the team for the massive operation.

Major General Govender said the Hawks launched Operation Correction to remove all corrupt members from the government and private sectors. The Hawks operations are still ongoing within Limpopo Province.
