Two emergency workers died on the N1 crash

Limpopo emergency workers died during an accident on the N1 South on Tuesday morning. A driver of an ambulance and a passenger were killed near Cordrington in Waterburg District.
It is alleged that the speeding ambulance hit a stationery truck at the rear. Both the driver and the passenger were killed on impact.

Limpopo Transport and Community Safety MEC, Mavhungu Lerule-Ramakhanya has conveyed her heartfelt condelences to the families of the two emergency personnel.
“It is disturbing to wake up to the sad news of the passing of emergency workers in the line of duty.
These are the same people we rely on to save lives on the roads. “We call on our drivers to be extra cautious and drive within the limits.” says MEC Lerule-Ramakhanya
