Vehicle falls from Shoprite roof parking to the ground

Grobler Street between Landdros Maré and Schoeman streets are partially closed after a vehicle fell from a roof parking. Motorists in Polokwane are advised to avoid Grobler Street between Landros Mare and Schoeman. They should use alternative routes.

The street is temporarily closed due to an accident whereby a sedan vehicle fell from the first floor of Shoprite roof parking to the ground on Grobler.

VIHECLE FALLS FROM ROOF PARKING

According to the information provided, there was only one occupant inside the vehicle who sustained injuries.

Polokwane traffic spokesperson, Kgaogelo Mphago confirmed that the driver sustained injuries. But no deaths were reported despite social media posts.
