Woman arrested for allegedly killing her Boyfriend

Police in Lephalale have arrested a 24-year-old woman for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend to death following an incident of domestic violence. It reportedly took place at Marapong township, Limpopo on Saturday night, 10 September 2022.

The Police were summoned to Marapong Health Care Center at 21:37 about a man who was brought to the center after having been stabbed and on arrival, they found a man lying dead 0ith stab wound.

WOMAN ARRESTED FOR KILLING BOYFRIEND

A case of murder was then opened and policing commenced with investigations.

Preliminary investigation indicated that the deceased and his alleged girlfriend had an altercation while at Marapong Extension 1. During the argument, the suspect stabbed the deceased with a sharp object. The victim was rushed to the hospital where he later succumbed to the injuries. He was intentified as Charles Kamogelo aged 24 from Mafikeng.

The woman, identified as Emmy Serumula, was traced and arrested. She appeared in Lephalale magistrate court on Monday facing a charge of murder and the case was postponed to 19 September for bail application.
