Man linked to several cases appears in court 

Tshianeo Munyai (30) appeared in the Thohoyandou Magistrate’s Court for the murder of Mbambedzeni James Manwadu (46).

Manwadu is an attorney attached to Legal Aid South Africa in Thohoyandou, Limpopo. It is alleged that on 16 January 2022, Manwadu got shot and killed while he getting out of his motor vehicle to open the gate at his home.

This is after being approached by the accused who was with another unknown accomplice. 

MAN LINKED WITH MANY CASES APPEAR IN COURT

The accused, Munyai, is linked to several cases from 2020-2022, including the murder case of Collins Chabane Mayor. 

Other cases include the house robbery of Tswinga village, wherein a woman got kidnapped with her vehicle.

Munyai and an unknown accomplice took her car, laptop, and mobile phone and the complainant was instructed to withdraw R10 000. He is also linked with a business robbery of Budeli Mount Rider, where he allegedly took an amount of R40 000.

He then proceeded to rob a safe at Mangondi filling station within the Vhembe district area. The matter is postponed to Friday, 16 September 2022, for the accused to secure a legal representative and he will remain in custody.

MISSING MAN IN THOHOYANDOU

Meanwhile, Police in Thohoyandou are appealing to the members of the community to assist in locating Ramudzuli Avhasei (34).

Avhasei was last seen at Mavhola village on Friday, 9 September 2022. He was reportedly last seen by his brother when he left for Thohoyandou CBD but he never returned and has since disappeared. 

Efforts by Police to locate him from friends and relatives couldn’t be successful. His recognizable clothes are Khakhi trousers with a black and yellow Jersey.
