Limpopo, Police congratulate 2022 SA Idols winner Thapelo Molomo

The Limpopo provincial government have joined thousands of South Africans in sending messages of congratulations to season 18 Idols SA winner Thapelo Molomo.

Molomo is a SAPS trauma counsellor originally from Mokopane, Diretsaneng Village in Limpopo.

The 29-year-old has shown his talent from the beginning of the competition. It made him win the hearts of the majority of South Africans.

The warrant officer went head-to-head on the final day with Nozipho Sibiya from KwaZulu-Natal.

The office of the premier took to their social media platforms immediately the announcement on Sunday to congratulate Molomo.

“The Limpopo Provincial Government congratulates @Thapelo_molom on winning Idols Season 18,” they wrote in a short statement.

Meanwhile, the South African Police (SAPS) have also congratulated Molomo on his achievement.

“The organisation is immensely proud of the 29-year-old member. Who is stationed at the Brits Police Station in North West for hoisting the SAPS flag higher,” said the SAPS.

Minister of Police, General Bheki Cele who attended the finale has on behalf of the SAPS congratulated Molomo.

“The member serves as a beacon of hope for many police officers who are faced with psychosocial challenges daily. He has illustrated to thousands of officers that hard work, determination and perseverance is the foundation of any successful human being.

“We are proud of him and wish him all the best. We cannot wait to have him back in office to continue serving our men and women in blue,” concluded Minister of Police General Bheki Cele.
