Three Limpopo men arrested for stolen property

Police in Mokopane have tactically traced and subsequently arrested three Limpopo men for stolen property in the early hours of Thursday, 27 April.
The SAPS in the Waterberg District followed up on information about the four Foreign Nationals. They are involved in numerous cases of business burglaries and robberies around the Mokopane industrial area.

The three suspects aged 25, 33 and 37 were spotted in Sekgakgapeng just outside Mokopane while at their residential premises. A search for illegal items and properties was conducted upon arrival by the police. This led to suspected stolen property recovered. These include 2 x Plasmas, 8 x Motor vehicle batteries. 1 x Generator machine, 2 x Welding machines, 4 x Grinding machines, 4 x Drilling machines. 11 x Safety boots, 2 x Torchlights and 1 x CCTV camera totaling a value of R200.000,00.
The recovered properties were all positively linked to a few incidents of business burglaries and robberies that occurred between March and April 2023 period. They were also reported at Mokopane Police Station.
MEN ARRESTED FOR STOLEN PROPERTY
Investigations revealed that other properties were already sent to their families in Zimbabwe by cross border delivery truck. A search for the fourth male suspect is still underway.
The suspects are expected to appear before Mokopane Magistrate’s Court soon in the week facing charges of business burglaries and robberies as well as possession of suspected stolen goods including the contravention of the immigration act, for illegally being in the Country.
