A Limpopo woman has vowed to sue the Police over her wrongful arrest by the Westenburg Police Station on Saturday. Martha Wolland, who is a resident of Westenburg, outside Polokwane, says the incident has damaged her reputation.
The 43-year-old is also a Community Policing Forum member in Westenburg. She says she was dragged half-naked out of her house by the police and thrown into a police van for chargers she knows nothing of. The incident happened in full view of her children.

Wolland further told Capricorn FM News that she spent a night in the police cells after she assisted the community to look for a missing child.
She says during her arrest, the Police told her that she was being arrested for interfering with police work. She was then taken to the Polokwane Police Station where she spent the night and was released the next day.

“The way they kicked me in front of my children. I don’t want to lie, I am not fine,” she told the station.
” My kids are traumatized, I am also not fine myself. People who don’t know what happened are looking at me like I am a criminal after the way they kicked me.”
Wolland made her first court appearance on Tuesday but was told that her case has been dismissed.
