More suspects escape from Police custody in Limpopo

Two male suspects believed to be Mozambican Nationals escaped from police holding cells in Phalaborwa, Limpopo on Friday morning. The suspects were nabbed for charges of tampering with essential infrastructure at Palaborwa Mining Company (PMC).
It is reported that two male suspects were arrested by a Security Company outside the mine and they called the police who immediately responded. The suspects were then driven to the Police Station before escaping afterwards. This comes at the back of three suspects who escaped from police cells on this week.

The circumstances surrounding the suspects escape from Police Lawful Custody are the subject of internal Investigation.
Acting Provincial Commissioner of Police in Limpopo Major General Jan Scheepers is appealing to the members of the community to assist with information that can lead to their re-arrest.
Anyone with information that can assist with the re-arrest of Roger Mthembu aged 42 and Makalani Malembe (47). They are believed to be residents of Tembisa in Gauteng Province. Anyone with information can contact Investigating Officer Lieutenant Colonel Freddie Lubbe on 082 573 3601
