“How we did things in our first term, we made commitments and there was a will to go and deliver on those commitments,” said leader Kamogelo Poto.
“So what we are saying now can only be delivered through the will and I can say that we have that will to say that we are going to go deliver everything we are talking about.
“It’s not our first time making commitments and it’s not even our last. The only thing that must happen is that the management of the University of Limpopo must decide if they want to work with students or not,” he said.

IMMEDIATE ISSUES THAT THE EFF STUDENTS COMMAND INTENDS TO DEAL WITH
“The first thing that we want to deliver to students this time around is to make sure that the library is working 24 hours,” he said.
“The other thing we want to say to students is to say, we have seen the University saying that anyone who fails to attend 25 per cent of their classes will not be allowed to write their exams. But we want to put it out that we strongly disagree with that. It will never happen under our watch.”
UNIVERSITY OF LIMPOPO SRC ELECTIONS A SIGNAL?
“We always stressed that we want to send a strong signal to the youth of South Africa. We want to send a strong signal to everyone that next year in 2024, is our 1994,” he concluded.
Other student organizations that also participated in the elections include SUCA [670 votes], SCO [542], Action SA [346], and PASMA [276].
